435: NYE, ASAP
Plus Tory Burch's annual sale, Jamie Haller flash daily deals, and Alaïa's new Le Bouledougue bag.
Find a list of only-here discounts up to 25% off in the Magasin Code Index.
If I didn’t have my NYE outfit set, now is about the time I’d be putting in my next-day delivery order at Net-A-Porter. (I do this every so often and consider it one of the most blessed parts of being a catered-to-on-every-level New Yorker.)
What’s out now from Christopher Esber really meets the moment: this sweater-y mini dress with a cumberbund-like satin trim, a ‘90s Chinoiserie brocade silk number, sequins and sheer in holy matrimony in this otherwise simple maxi. So, too, does Khaite, which is probably more appropriable for future applications if a bit more of an investment, as with this deep-V velvet shift or this long white organza one that’s 60% off right now.
While we’re on dresses, we gotta talk about this one from Bode!!! Pricey but what does perfection cost? Between the beaded fringe and antique-y purple silk you couldn’t do a better job at embodying a midnight countdown than this. More realistically priced: this $390 Loulou de Saison all-over fringe dress (remember Lion’s Mane?), $470 Posse velvet column dress with a sweet little box, $650 Self Portrait bustier dress (very vintage D&G, and if not for New Years’, when?), and this $795 Saloni velvet Mandarin-collar dress…again, ‘90s Chinoiserie fit for Friends-era Courtney Cox.
(It’s cheating to point to the most expensive option, but just need to point to this entire Alaïa ensemble…down to the white socks and red shoes, my god.)
On the other end of the continuum: pants. Evergreen cigarette pants from Toteme would do well here. Some PJ-like Dôen ones with good lacy insets. IDK if sale stuff is eligible for same-day shipping if I’m being honest, but JIC…these Altuzarras and Emilia Wicksteads are sick
If you’ve been thinking about a Nour Hammour shearling for a while, you could get it right now and wear it tomorrow night? Otherwise, might I nudge forward this spotty Bernadette blazer? This Chloe jacquard is amazing but it’s also like $4k so…whatever. Get a similar one on The RealReal for another time.
In the event you already have something to wear in your closet (don’t we all), and all you need is an accessory, how about a perfectly reasonable chainmail skinny scarf? Don’t worry, it’s zebra print! It goes with everything! Or this beaded kind-of-scarf, kind-of-necklace from Isabel Marant. Or the Sophie Buhai teardrop satin pouch (CC all the deco girlies). Gohar World has gotten pretty good at real jewelry. Almost as good as Sonia Petroff (actually an entirely different thing, but I pine to wear this necklace).
IYWW, I’m wearing this (sold out) Tigra Tigra dress from a flash sale months ago that I told you about. Pics to come. Hope you’ll send me yours as well.

What’s new
Colleen Allen has been newly added to Net-A-Porter with precise tailoring and a kind of hyperaware SFW proportion play that reads more sculpture garden than boardroom. The standout? A paneled fleece jacket whose rounded, generous hips hit the swelling-volume trend we see barrelling into next year from the runways.
Net-A-Porter also tapped St. Agni for a run of exclusives that lean clean and to-the-point, without drifting too far into full-blown severity. The drop folds neatly into a wardrobe already orbiting good trousers and grounded footwear and is situated beside several pieces that also slip into the brand’s sale section, making mix-and-match experimentation feel, at once, editorial and wallet-sparing.
Toteme’s latest PS26 delivery extends the brand’s codes into colder-weather fantasies: shearling-touched boots that feel seasonally precise (yet simultaneously year-round), and the return of those cashmere-wool robe jackets, now with deeper, more dramatic shawl lapels. It’s outerwear designed like a uniform for winter mornings, when structure feels optional, but intention does not.
There’s also: The new Alaïa Le Bouledougue leather shoulder bag, aged and a little feral-looking with that puckered leather profile that can turn any daily-carry into a full-blown handbag character study; Repetto departs from its usual ballerinas to release an unexpected Moon Boot-like hyper-padded winter shoe, the Gentaine; and the arrival of Calvin Klein Collection on SSENSE (its CK1 bottle-inspired minaudiéres and pendants) with some serious gallery-ready restraint.
What’s on sale
Tory Burch is running up to 50% off, plus an extra 25% off select sale styles. Some Magasin-rithmetic: the Georgia Ballet Flat sits pretty at $127 from $170 and the Perry Shoulder Bag is down to $195 from $400 with the additional 25% off stacked on top of existing sale discounts, meaning you can scoop both up in coordinating colors for a little less than the original retail price of the bag alone, pre-sale.
Jamie Haller is quietly staging a post-holiday flash sale series across loafers, boots, and the brand’s elegant shirting. The edit feels like a capsule in motion; familiar silhouettes whose textiles do all the heavy lifting so your accessories don’t have to, and some good limited items (like these slipper flats) that remain under-the-trend-radar enough to feel like a special find.
The &Daughter sale, which we posted about last week, was inaccessible to some readers who were prompted to enter a code. Looks like it’s all-access now and up to 50% (!) off, but please tell me in the comments if you still can’t get in!
There’s a Lemaire private sale live online, with discounts ranging roughly 30–40% off; rather generous for the brand! Anyone circling a Croissant Bag in another color or size, or a belted tailored coat now has an opportune window. Access requires signing into an account, adding to the members-only energy (signing up is free and just takes your email).
Alex Mill’s sale section is stacked with knits best described as wardrobe workhorses, especially for those dealing with real winter weather this time of year. The Madelyn Donegal sweater is currently marked down from $228 to $91 (!) in a variety of colors, and it’s the kind of piece that lends itself to friendship-sweater moments for all—friends, lovers, roommates, parents—without trying too hard.
The Aritzia winter sale! Up to 50% off across categories, ideal for building a back-up roster of ole reliables. Think pieces like the Memory Dress, which can toggle between a date to the opera to a girls’ night at The Odeon, if you’ve got the right merchandise-y accessories and footwear. Plenty of oft-lauded-here activewear also marked way down.
COS is running a new-year refresh promotion with 20% off, while deeper cuts run up to 60% through sale. The Teddy Longline Jacket now sits at 40% off, delivering plush warmth flirting with ’60s English-nostalgia territory, and the Pleated High-Neck Maxi Dress is 60% off, the perfect tea-green column whose pleats boast a structure that can be as layered or unlayered as you choose.
Speaking of layers…Vince’s winter sale layers an extra 25% off with BUNDLEUP, bringing its core staples into friendlier bottom-line territory. Case in point: the wool-cashmere three-quarter sleeve V-neck sweater, already discounted, softens even further at checkout to $182. It’s the kind of knit that can actually call itself nonchalant; goes with everything, doesn’t have to pretend to not care.
Carmen Amsterdam’s sale is like a boutique moodboard: we’ve got Renaissance Renaissance satin pieces, a spectrum of Baserange essentials, smatterings of SC103’s wildchild powerclashing prints. As it all works together in this sale edit, may these pieces make their way into your cart, into your closet…
FRAME is running up to 70% off bestsellers, the same discount that drove its standing as one of our top sellers during Black Friday just last month. Expect denim in precise washes, easy-tailored shirts designed to be worn untucked, and complementary knitwear. A strong moment to lock in the brand’s signatures and dip a toe into Frame’s frame.
There’s also: Zara’s winter sale, a grab-bag of trend-experiments and surprisingly considered-looking tailoring for a fast-fashion brand; Isamaya Beauty’s archive sale cutting 70% off with INSIDERSONLY through the end of 2025 for anyone looking to add a bit of club-kid-glitz to their makeup kit; Aureum’s private sale with 30% off sitewide using PRIVATE30, stacking on existing markdowns on belts, jewelry, sunglasses, etc.; a Rachel Comey sale that reads like a studio archive let loose, painterly prints, party-ready clogs, and tailored oddities; 70% off Swedish Stockings, turning ladder-resistant tights, socks, and other hosiery into a stockpile situation; Heaven Mayhem’s Boxing Day sale dropping prices on glossy chains and all the unapologetically camp and rhinestone-drama-fun the brand has to offer; some new styles added to Nour Hammour’s sale section, including (but not limited to) leather trenches and shearling collared-sheaths with movie star attitude; and an additional 30% off Shopbop’s sale section, a sprawling sweep with standouts in the denim, cocktail dresses, and sneakers categories now at off-hours pricing.
Men’s sales
Our Legacy has opened early access to its winter sale, a corridor of powerwashed tailoring, directional denim (we love their take on the drainpipe), and outerwear filled with that distinctly Swedish minimalist charm. The label’s twisted classics take particularly well to markdowns, still experimental, but now easier to rationalize.
Mohawk General Store’s winter sale trims 30% off a highly curated menswear lineup, including Italian-made shoes, textured knits, Japanese denim (we saw story MFG selvedge), and small-batch labels that don’t turn you into a walking billboard. It’s the kind of multi-brand mix that turns a sale scroll into a mini case study in good taste.
Take 30% off with DEC30 across a range of sneakers, graphic knits, and lower-key luxury staples at Notre (like a visvim wallet…seriously, who’s gonna know?). The Chicago retailer’s buy is always tight, so even the discounts feel edited. A reliable place to find labels from people who know their references.
Aimé Leon Dore’s end-of-season sale brings down the price on its familiar blend of heritage sportswear, cafe-ready knits, and zeitgeist-aware outerwear ahead of the new year. The palette stays rich, the branding stays a bit flashy, and the vibe remains distinctly ALD, just with a receipt that induces slightly less elevated blood pressure.
Home sales
Moda Operandi is running up to 40% off home essentials that feel anything but basic: hand-thrown ceramics, statement glassware, and textiles with a designer edge. It reads less like clearance and more like a well-timed upgrade for interiors, just as nesting season kicks into its most committed phase: the new year.
Hudson Grace opens winter with up to 50% off candles, tableware, linens, and those heavyweight serveware pieces that can really anchor a dinner table of any size. The aesthetic leans unfussy, like if L.L.Bean and Sur La Table had a baby.
Coming Soon’s Boxing Day sale rages on, turning the NYC concept store’s playful, design-forward home assortment into something of a treasure hunt. Expect deals on colorful glass, cheeky ceramics, and furniture with personality (sometimes even a second wind, in the case of this vintage sideboard). It’s the kind of edit that makes a bookshelf, coffee table, or rental kitchen look instantly more charming, without trying too hard.
