What hit me in this roundup is how many of these pieces you framed as things to live in—Altuzarra’s slingbacks, Marc’s tab-tipped shoes. I’m not a fashion insider by background (just a Colorado guy who stumbled into the shoe business), but I’ve learned the same thing: shoes aren’t just runway artifacts, they’re what carry you through the ten-hour days.

You just nailed my confusion about Tory Burch. The excitement I feel looking at the runway is often deflated by the e-comm/in-store vibes.

Laura.. This is one of my favorite features & I ALWAYS look back to the earlier lists.. it’s so considered ~ thank you.

The TB show is 🥜.. it reminds me of when she 1st launched her line & every piece was so fresh & new.

I’m happy for her (& for us)

Also a big kallmeyer fan & have been lamenting how little I’m wearing her pieces now that I’m in LA (w notable exception of the “internet leather jacket 😂”

I was inspired by your review to look at all of her collections 2024-5 only to decide I mos def want those pink trousers (resort ‘25 ?) that are FULLY sold out 🙄

Lesson learned.. the drawstring pants look great .. the tassels & great to see how pieces similar to those I own (the fab suits) were styled on the runway

❤️❤️
