FPM Milano stands almost neck and neck with Rimowa, spared the sometimes spiral-inducing performance of category-leading luxury…it’s also something Rimowa would never be: on sale; this just-landed Toteme one-shoulder dress is among the best deals in SSENSE’s new arrivals at just $330 and primed for broad use all season; Isa Boulder’s beach tresses top the site’s best sale items, this crocheted dress down to $228; my urgency toward the Wales Bonner x adidas silver Sambas has made way to a deep respect for this brown and red style from the same release, which I just bought like 10 minutes ago; and one of the most attractive investment totes from Khaite I’ve realistically seen all year is strangely on sale for some $800 off.

Cavalli jeans are some of my favorite vintage fits for how they hug the middle and shoot straight down from the hip, but obviously they’d be nothing if not for the masterfully psychotic prints of all sorts you can find, like these acid wash-leopard ones (some of the final remaining from a recent saving spree—seems to be a hot collectible these days); it can’t be a coincidence that so soon after I shared my hallelujah moment about denim shorts and Hermes sandals, I interviewed Anna Santangelo (coming soon) while she was waiting a pair and was bid unprompted by Vesper Ireland for my take on them…summer of the Hermes sandal starts NOW; Comme des Garçons’ 2007 glove collection is an evergreen watchlist query, like Lumps and Bumps, however I almost never see the skirt version come up—Into Archive has a rare one in size S in stock; a D&G bikini in a full-bleed Positano postcard print, in great shape for only $200; and a Moschino Cheap and Chic crochet set (top and skirt sold separately) that’s unparalleled in its fulfillment of our right-now desires for sweet and sophisticated, playful and substantial, smart and joyous.

This Matin blouse and skirt set is the exact green of the Christopher Esber dress I bought for a very specific wedding that has yet to materialize—it’s possible that the two Aussie brands are sourcing from the same supplier, but what’s more important is that this particular shade is so engaging and electric, and I’m titillated to find it out in the wild once again; one of my spoils from Paris is this expertly tailored Lemaire tank bought on Private Sale from the brand’s Place des Vosges boutique—the cotton is so fine and flat it feels like silk and hangs almost heavily from my shoulders; Paloma Wool is definitely “rated,” but of all its offerings, I see less love than I’d imagine for its leather goods, like this roomy shoulder bag primed the gym, your laptop, the top of your rolling suitcase, in a ‘90s navy blue; another couple of souvenirs from Paris: this shrunken graphic ERL tee I scooped up also on Private Sale from Dover Street Market that reminds me of The Row’s Alasdair on the Beach tee but is down to $38; and a Rick Owens brown denim skirt that gives the effect of several layers of cutoff shorts.
