People know this already, but having a closet layout that allows you to, you know, actually see the clothes you own is incredibly supportive of getting dressed each day. I’m putzing about with home renovation projects lately, one of which has been converting the office that’s stored various rolling racks worth of my belongings for the last two years (not to mention the dressers in two other rooms full of folded items) into a bona fide walk-in.
More on that build is coming to ROOMS soon, but what I’ll say now is that it’s been a great era of rediscovery: these De Rococo straight-leg, low-rise cords came back into my life perfectly timed to the arrival of fake fall. Their buttery beige goes great with this whisper-lilac Suzie Kondi button down. I forgot how much I liked this Uniqlo U quarter-zip. And how I didn’t wear this Ossou denim jacket with the scooped peplum back nearly enough last fall (and will correct that imminently). I’m even excited to see the L.L.Bean log carrier we shot for last year’s gift guide again, it makes such a great package tote. Like, for when you need to return something because you just reorganized and realized you basically already own that thing anyway.

Khaite is getting increasingly Disney villan-coded with each new collection, but in a way that absolutely satisfies my theatrical leanings (drama kid) and seems entirely self-aware. The bit works especially well in the Resort ‘27 holiday collection…Halloween is days away, but the festivities beyond that—old New York cocktail bars all through December—are well-served by fur capelets, fishtail velvet skirts, Dalmatian spots!!! There’s also the matter of the new Soft Blake, the latest in Khaite’s bag lineup and a sure thing to be seen on shoulders at Straker’s late night.
We’re getting the first few pieces from Rachel Comey’s Pre-Spring 2027. The collection is all clean lines and subtly rich shades, from this maxi skirt in a sun-faded goji to this purply espresso button-up. The accessories are also worth looking twice at. As far as Western-style belts go, the Concha is refreshingly minimalist, with a buckle that could be an antique silver heirloom. Both the Bull mule and the Taro heel have sultry silhouettes—open toe, wide vamp—and come in fun textured leathers like croc and eel.
If you want to make your jewelry box heavier: Christopher John Rogers tapped jeweler Presley Oldham to design a $2,800 technicolor necklace, among other confectionary baubles, and RÙADH x Dévé launched a jewelry capsule anchored by black onyx and red jasper (bring back perfume bottle pendants!). For the minimalists, Dorsey’s new Romy collection offers budget-friendly tennis jewelry with moissanite stones, and Lié Studio’s pre-spring 2027 collection takes inspiration from sleek ‘90s cinema.
&Daughter is stepping into its season confidently with The Caragh Collection, a tight and tidy lineup of loose lambswool knits as heavy as they are brain chemistry-triggering soft. This drapey crewneck and boxy V meet every expectation for $800 knits already collecting names on a waitlist (I signed up).
It’s the era of SHIRTS. Liana read the moment for filth at the launch of her brand Oksana as she called out the crowd for “their Flore Flores, their Cou Cous, their Lesets.” Hers, a clasp-neckline quarter-sleeve, joined their ranks of cultish, insider-y basics immediately upon arrival in Midnight at Brighton Beach Black and Engorged Orange. Some other names that belong to this list also launched variations on their collected tops: Brooke Callahan with the return of the adjustable wrap top, Fruity Booty with the knock tee (door knockers printed where your boobs sit, a follow-up to the jugs tee), and Turn Paris with the too-tightly buttoned Tunisien.
Sandy Liang is doing weekly drops for her Resort ‘27 collection, which we’d describe as Her Highness Goes Hiking. So far on site, we’re seeing a few items made for special-occasion dressing—like these very Tsarina faux-fur heels, or the ice-blue confetti mini dress and skirt. But the collection has a solid wearable offering too, from the gorpy Torry jacket with a built-in bonnet to the Nara top, which definitely falls into the freaky basics camp.
Dôen just opened the digital doors to its Holiday Occasion Shop. Any of the dresses are fit for a Gatsby-level party, from the minis that trail off in a long fringe to this pearly cowl-neck midi adorned with glass-bead tassels. There’s also the special anniversary edition of the brand’s Antoinette dress (first introduced in 2018). You can get the equally glamorous fur collars, cashmere-lined leather gloves, and brooches at a more accessible price point—willing to bet the Dôen girls clear house on this one.
Two on-our-radar brands just broke into the vintage underthings market (and if you haven’t yet, drop everything and look up “vintage Agent Provocateur” on eBay): First, Melbourne-based Highrack Studios’ drop of deadstock Japanese lingerie covers all levels of modesty. We’re talking everything from lace-hemmed, mid-length slip shorts to this bubblegum pink floral corset. Then there’s the skivvies brand Cuccia, which just launched a vintage offering of sub-$100 Oscar de La Renta teddies and a black lace opera coat that’ll make you believe in gothic romance. Who’s going to bite on this crazy fire engine red set from La Perla?
There’s also: Puma and Jil Sander keep their collaboration rolling to re-imagine the classic Speedcat and Suede silhouettes; Saint Laurent launches its boat-shoe-meets-loafer on Net-A-Porter—it’s almost sold out; Alex Mill’s new Snooze collection of 100% cotton pajamas, scrunchies, and sherpa slippers is as cozy as 200 mgs of magnesium before bed; and women's tailoring hub Old Stone Trade just restocked its fan-favorite flannels, sourced from Amsterdam-based label 100 Hands.
Men’s releases
There are tons of elevated basics for boys in Carter Young’s Winter ‘26 collection, which is now live on site. The self-described New Americana brand is built to last, with washed Western flannels made from 100% Japanese cotton and excellent raw denim. The Murphy blouson is particularly delicious—each lamb leather bomber is made to order in London.
Carson Wach’s 333 jeans got the Colbo treatment. You can now buy the workwear-inspired straight cut jeans in chocolate brown, done with copper hardware and contrast gold stitching throughout.
Home releases
Benon Home is a new name in the “finer things” game that’s about to be thrown around a lot this season—the first offering from the Stockholm-based textile brand is now available for pre-order. The earth-toned bed linens, made from sateen and percale woven in Northern Italy, are what first stood out to us—they look fit for a Medici. But we’re also intrigued by the brand’s extravagant loungewear, like these dusty rose pyjamas and this $1,100 double-breasted home suit jacket for all the bon vivants out there.
After sourcing materials for her own Tribeca apartment, Athena Calderone is sharing the wealth. She partnered with ABCStone to launch The Tribeca Collection—you can spot the five natural stones, ranging from deep green to mineral red, in her own home.
There’s also: Knoll reintroduces pioneering Italian architect Cini Boeri’s cubist Brigadier sofa, with finishes and fabric options available for customization; Burberry and Smythson launches a new series of leather-bound stationary and game boards, some emblazoned with the fashion brand’s signature beige check, others with cutesy British idioms; and Lumens exclusively launches the PH 5 Pendant Opal by Louis Poulsen in 4 pastel shades—an opal glass diffuser on the lower shade means no harsh downlight.

After a dormant spell, the sale section at Net-A-Porter just re-emerged, hitting 80% off at the top end right out of the gate. The biggest discounts include sub-$100 pieces from the brand Bettter, which just announced the closure of its clothing line (so, last chance), a Givenchy dress down to $640, pieces from Wales Bonner (whose other gig happens to be Hermés), Liberowe, Dries, Veronica De Piante…hardly bottom of the barrel stuff. I’m all over the Jil Sander at 50% off.
Tibi is offering up to 80% off at its outlet sale, where it’s really clearing house. There’s everything from a cream wool-and-cashmere scarf for a very fair $74 (marked down over $170) to this fun-and-functional Anorak top, which is now 40% off.
Happy birthday, Cawley! The British brand’s birthday sale features a curated selection of coats, trousers, shorts, and pullovers, with the average item priced under $300. This suit jacket is very ‘80s office siren (complimentary), with tailoring too good to be priced at $245. Just imagine it paired with this eggplant-colored pillbox hat…
If you’re craving the hunt, hit up Bergdorf’s New Season Sale, where you can get up to 30% off fall collections. There’s quite a bit to work through, but a good dig will get you a blood-red McQueen jacket (those shoulders could hurt someone!) and some great basics, like this creamy silk skirt from Vince.
Maison Rogue has a secret sale going on, with an additional 40% off all sale items at checkout. There are still a few lucky gets, like this freaky, fringey Margiela bodysuit or this silk slip dress from Magasin matrix brand 6397.
It’s been 5 years of shopping Tangerine, in case you’re counting your blessings today. To celebrate, the Brooklyn concept store is offering 20% off sitewide (!) till the end of today. You can’t go wrong, but I’ve been eyeing these Martiniano Medalia sandals for a while…
There’s also: New York-based label Duckie Brown is hosting an End of Year sale—DM them on Instagram—the only way to shop it—if you see something that catches your eye; for its Private Sale, Esse Studios is offering up to 60% off a selection of mostly tops, dresses, and jackets on its website; and you can enter your email on-site at Briah Artemis for 25% off SS26 items, like this cute A-line dress with a tie detail.
