I’m heading to town for a Meta thing that I’ll have more details for you about soon. I’m guessing (and maybe you can guess, too) that it has something to do with the best Prada collection in years that went down the runway in Milan this morning. Seeing it sent me directly to The RealReal to scout old Prada skirts, of which there is an abundance at all times. (I also found this insanely priced—under $1k—fur coat that I’d buy for myself if I didn’t think it’d make me look “hippy.”) It really felt like Miuccia said, let’s play the hits on all varieties of their beloved knee-lengths.
It’s all very tempting. Shopping always is just before Paris, which I told everyone I wouldn’t be attending this season and then, of course, am (that’s two stops after SFO). I like to wear a fun new thing when buying a fun new thing. Today’s send is getting me high on my own supply: tabs open for a current-season, on-sale Celine trench coat; envelope clutch; sport glasses.
6397’s SS27 runway was a major hero during NYFW, and those newly initiated to the brand can dip a toe in with the new arrivals from FW26. Everything is wearable yet exciting, a delicate balance best exemplified by pieces like the knit sporting blazer, chevron dress in grape-y shade Viola, and of course, the printed L/S crew tees (the sunbeam yellow is an ideal shade).
Nour Hammour’s new collection takes us to France at the witching hour. Entitled ‘Paris, After Dark,’ we’re seeing all the NH big guns wheeled out in evening-deep colors: the warm chestnut funnel-neck Cameron shearling jacket and rich black leather Viret foulard leather midi skirt, for example. Also not to be missed are the ponyhair pieces, like the Alana midi skirt and Hadley jacket, each in a chocolate brown.
Loewe and Cosima von Bonin released a leather sandal collaboration exclusive to MyTheresa, and it’s the most Jack-and-Lazaro-coded thing we’ve ever seen. The shoe, called the New Comic, is a mismatched-on-purpose strappy stiletto, combining gingham, plaid, and python, with a gold chain ankle fastener on the left shoe only. It’s the kind of balance-in-chaos that makes sense for the Proenza Schouler founders to infuse into their take on Loewe, and soft-launching with a collab is a great way to go.
The new AW26 womenswear from Cawley riffs on the central brand language in a way that’s fit for fall. The brand consistently thrives in the high concept-low concept mode of dressing, exemplified in this collection by basics like the unisex short sleeve tee, and more tailored Japanese typewriter cotton pieces like the Eliza puff sleeve blouse or Lydbrook dress.
There are new love-centric pieces over at Dorsey for all the pre-fall romantics out there. Meet Romy, an eternity ring with a cigar band shape made up of rows of round-cut moissanite (the sterling silver is only $420?!), and Ellis, a series of minimalist lab diamond engagement rings (the pear-cut solitaire shape is a favorite).
There’s also: A perfectly spiced Everybody.World FW26 collection (see: the reds and purples) out now, including some specialized corduroy separates; a suit-ready shoe collaboration between Balenciaga and J.M. Weston; the new Boky bag by Polène, a handbag inspired by a splayed book; Musc Miroir, a new fragrance by Ormaie that combines notes of pink pepper, saffron, and tonka bean for an animalian, sensual scent; Still Here’s new Utah wash, a cooler toned denim somewhere between true blue and grey; and Viktor&Rolf x Mackintosh, a rain-safe collaboration with two pleated-pocket rain macs fit for any gloomy day.
Men’s releases
Wake up, babe…the second fall drop from Toteme men’s just landed. Where the first teaser was jeans-and-tees forward, this second part includes some more coats (still waiting on the Base coat for pre-order), some really considered cable cardigans, and a charcoal melange suit.
The FW26 Gimaguas menswear collection is kinda like Tank Air but for boys. There are a few pieces that are more chuckle-inducing than something to take 100% seriously, like the pre-distressed striped Steeve polo, but the majority takes a good stab at a 2026-tinged normcore. The proposed daywear uniform looks like this: the Cani trousers held up by the Andrea belt, Ruben shirt, and Etienne jacket if it gets chilly.
Home releases
Pre-fab, in the case of the Kettal x Eames Office collaboration, doesn’t have to mean canned. The Spanish design brand and legendary office furniture label combine forces to present the Eames Pavilion system, a structure that can be used for something as small as an in-home lounge, or as big as a home itself. While the structures are pre-fabricated, certain customizations can be made by contacting the Kettal experts at their website.
Who says precious gemstones and metals must be relegated to jewelry? Not L’Objet and diamond jewelry designer Jessica McCormack, who come together to share these fine home objects reminiscent of a Marie Antoinette (2006) deleted scene. There are scoop bowls and dessert coupes fashioned like gilded shells, including a coordinating set of flatware dressed up in its own little jewelry box.
Designer Giampiero Tagliaferri has had an ongoing collaboration with Minotti Studio for the past two years, and this season’s pieces take a more streamlined approach to seating. A vintage-feeling space age sofa is one thing, and the more minimal Orion is another—an envelope-style layout crafted with FSC certified wood components.
There’s also: Doen x Trove, a collaboration of jewelry boxes, trays, and receptacles fit for any bathroom counter or vanity; a private collection of vintage Japanese homewares at H.Lorenzo that’s worthy of an antique store; and some Rick Owens-level artisanal crafted speakers by LA-based sculptural speaker makers OBEN HIFI.
On Senser, there is quite a bit of Celine up to 60% off. The majority of the discounts are on small non-leather accessories, but there are a few new season pieces—like this cornflower blue cotton poplin blouse and eyewear like the full-frame sunglasses—included in the sale.
