Plus J.Crew's collaborative Rollnecks, La Collection's archive sale, and every single SS26 collection seems to have just dropped.

Instead of our usual comprehensive shopping map spelled out in a Future Shopper send, I’m closing out NYFW with a mini edition of only the most crucial things from the runways and previews we’re (I’m) most likely to be purchasing in Fall ‘26.

My “future shopping” this season would have spilled over, but I’m restricting my selects to only as many as I can fit into two galleries here. It was also largely consolidated into a few standout brands. Seen on my first day of appointments, an In House Fidi-inspired quarter zip in tropical wool (I’d wear with a button-up and tie underneath, maybe jeans). From Tory Burch, an excellent gray leather pencil skirt and tonal-but-stand-out woven belt and sorry to make it the whole look, but the boatneck sweater too. Also, the best cords ever. Lots to desire at Colleen Allen, and I’m supposed to send in my pre-order this week so…pressure is on: a wool blazer and skirt set with a skinny flash of hip, a wrapping, configurable velvet top, and a velvet dress with a long tail meant to be looped around the shoulders or held in arm like a blanket or muff or clutch. Fforme also showed a dress-blanket pairing that stuck a knife in my heart. Plus two iterations of pony hair that I couldn’t possibly choose between: an almost-off-shoulder dress and an oversized military trench.
At Kallmeyer, the accessories spoke to me: crushed satin lime green kitten heels and an old Prada-esque patent burgundy tote. Eckhaus Latta made a leather pants and jacket set that I just know, in my heart of hearts and legs of legs, would fit me perfectly…need to prove it to myself by owing it. Khaite. Everything. But especially (if I really had to choose) a skinny leather trench, the kind that’s actually a dress for fun parties in the winter, a gown wearing a bowtie, and the smallest bag no one has gotten a good pic of yet—I live for a funny little bag that nestles into your sweat glands. Calvin Klein Collection moved me with a simple black dress with just the right strap width and structure. Grey’s Studio made a white slip that might replace all the others in my closet—I know I’d wear it based on their number alone, but it’s a far superior version. And I’ll just pretend I couldn’t predict what this Ralph Lauren shearling coat would cost.

What’s new
The SS26 collections of three labels that anchor New York Fashion Week hit stores this week, almost precisely as they send their follow-up collections down the runway. Khaite sharpens to a near-clinical point—tailoring that looks expensive before you even touch it (see: the Palto jacket). Fforme continues exploring fluid dressing, this season more literally with crinkled-on-purpose metallic cotton that almost has a wet effect. Kallmeyer stays committed to modern American ease with an operatic flair (the mint Matilda Cape gown is everything), the kind that works across cities and calendars. These collections don’t try to dominate the room and yet every time you see someone wearing their work, they do. Just politely!
New pieces from The Row percolate across Net-A-Porter, MyTheresa, and Moda under cover of fashion darkness. The Terrasse To Go bag, a miniaturized version of the past-season Terrasse, is the standout: compact and so well-proportioned it feels defining of the golden ratio of bags. More pieces from SS26 include additional colors from core like the Dayton coat in beige Pima cotton and the Liisa leather pumps in white leather.
For the very first time, J.Crew hands over the Rollneck to a roster of NYC designers—Collina Strada, Eckhaus Latta, and more—a move akin to handing over the keys to the castle. The result is familiar, but most importantly collectable (we love the sailor-y iteration by Tanner Fletcher); proof that collaboration works best when brands feel comfortable sharing secret formulas with smaller-batch designers.
We’ve got concurrent SS26 drops across the mid-price RTW bracket with St. Agni, Nili Lotan, Tibi, 6397, and High Sport. Updated colors (bubblegum pink High Sport scuba), not on-the-nose military inspired outerwear (Nili Lotan Betsy jacket), sweet animalian motifs (St. Agni’s fawn hide skirt), smarter knits (Tibi ribbed sweater pullover), darted cotton pants that look and feel like comfy jeans but are…trousers (6397 darted pant). It’s an athleisure-office overlap that actually understands the real schedules and real bodies behind commuters everywhere.
There’s a rare kind of proof-of-life happening around Nour Hammour right now. During NYFW alone, multiple coat sightings surfaced on total strangers; no PR context, no explanation, just a mutual street style vibe. That fare continues in SS26, which just dropped yesterday, moving from shearling onto great leather, sharp shoulders, and silhouettes that register after a knowing look.
The UNIQLO : C SS26 drop feels calibrated for rapid disappearance, as a lot of the brand’s designer-led drops tend to go (Clare Waight Keller is behind this particular collection). The drawstring bag is actually good, the low-waist cotton culotte pleasantly and gently wide but not overly trendy-baggy. This practical fashion is priced to move, designed to sell out while people are still “thinking about it.”
A decade in, Dôen revisits its most recognizable silhouettes in its 10 year anniversary collection—not nostalgically per se, but critically—with made-to-last construction and composition, citing “couture-like craftsmanship.” The details become even more exacting (the Albertine set), ruffles handled with a new level of discipline like on the Primrose dress. Prices float way up, too, with dresses reaching $3,000.
Reformation’s latest collaboration with famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser frames separation as something to be celebrated in a tongue-in-cheek way. Media legend and model divorcée Alyssa Vingan texted us: “I just think Laura Wasser is an incredible character…I would follow any advice she gave me.” Vingan places Wasser alongside Monica Lewinsky (who Ref also collaborated with) as a Gen X feminist icon, less corporate empowerment, more enlivened authority. Now, they can sport the “Dump Him” crewneck to solidify that, or the Carrera dress for when they win the…Carrera.
Saint Laurent’s new arrivals strike that balance between aspirational-vacation-somewhere-warm and I’m-still-layering-for-the-cold. Some sweet scalloped silk-satin shorts, a glossed leather biker that means business. We should expect drops throughout the next month in a steady stream for SS26.
Bag watch! There are so many drops this season, it’s like an entire line change for your offensive starters. Bottega Veneta miniaturizes Intrecciato with confidence with the Baby Bottega, Louis Vuitton plays with a fortune-cookie-like silhouette in smooth calfskin in the new Express bag (with only selective monogram accents). Gimaguas delivers a barrel-Boston hybrid that actually holds things and makes a brown-black leather combo work. Add in Fane’s SS26 selection of minimalist silhouette bags reminiscent of Polly Pocket accessories, DeMellier’s small grain leathers, A.P.C.’s new Drummer bag, and the XL-sized Turismo shopper by Jacquemus, and it’s like an entire roster update.
A new wave of luxury flats for spring. Phoebe Philo channels her Céline-era instincts with the Gathered Flat, now in burgundy. Tigra Tigra offers handwork that feels personal with the mirrored ballet slipper. Jude’s engineered the perfect leather mule somewhere between slipper and prosper outside-shoe. And Hereu’s Plegada styles land somewhere between an architectural square-toed leather loafer and a low-to-the-ground sneaker.
There’s also: Julia Hobbs x Jennifer Behr, a cheeky tiara moment—made even better by its unexpected SNL cameo on Alexander Skarsgård; Miu Miu Manifeste, a self-referential digital pop-up that hashes and rehashes every Miu Miu-ism since the microshorts; Willy Chavarria womenswear landing on Net-A-Porter with the same political romance and power dressing energy that’s made his shows appointment-worthy; Literary Sport SS26, where athleisure is reborn not-annoying and with an architectural throughline; a Birkenstock x Danielle Frankel bridal sandal collaboration (of all things); a new Crisp White color from Brooke Callahan; Lunya x FX’s Love Story, a silk capsule that leans cinematic, adult, and a little cutting (a new way of saying “CBK-derivative”); and the vision-loyal Rachel Comey SS26 drop, now online and in-store.
Home releases
Zara Home’s new Coffee Collection pushes the kitchen into barista-core territory. Brushed steel, espresso tools, and a slightly brutalist edge—cute, yes, but also a little severe, like these simple yet hand-hewn looking coffee spoons.
The Tetbury House collection by Olive Ateliers feels like a well-planned cottage-y staycation. The lighting is the real standout, particularly the Langford floor lamp, which balances presence and warmth with that vintage-y shade. It’s the kind of collection that invites rearranging rooms just to accommodate it.
Magniberg’s collaboration with Moomin, Korea’s favorite animated cow, lands playfully without tipping into kitsch. The blanket is that kind of nostalgic-cute that doesn’t devolve into full Sanrio-adult territory; there’s also matching loungewear, but the home accents are the best way to spice up your life.
A deep dive into Winter Olympic memorabilia, this 1stDibs collection mixes sport with interiors. Expect vintage décor and home furnishings (like this Slim Aarons print), designer collectibles (like these shearling Chanel boots), and rare collaboration gear (like this Basquiat Black Crown ski helmet) that blurs the line between sports and rare ice-themed designer history.
The brand formerly known as Upstate is now known as Gone, but while the name may be different, its eye for singular home objects remains steadfast. Hand-dyed glass vessels are a standout, like the Nebula pendant light to larger price-upon-request items.
What’s on sale
The La Collection archive sale runs through February 24, with many pieces hovering around the 70% off mark. The mood is spiritual, literally: capelet tops, borderline liturgical-but-fashion silhouettes. These aren’t impulse buys; they’re wardrobe elevation points.
The Goop biannual sale delivers a clean 25% off across beauty and wellness. The Youth Boost serum is situated firmly in the “expensive but effective” category for skincare with $125, but an easy gateway to see if peptides do anything for you (compared to other invasive, multi-thousand dollar treatments). And 25% off takes you under $100, hooray!
Luxury upcycled fur dealer Nereja is running a first-ever sale on a new host of ethically fuzzy pieces, shoppable via DMing @n_e_r_e_j_a on Instagram. There are some deadstock fox, mink, and sheep fur varieties priced between €5,000 to 9,000, in case you were looking to invest in some high-quality vintage.
The Frame archive sale spans 30–65% off and is especially strong on denim. The Le Slim Palazzo jean is the highlight, a wide leg without going full barrel-leg. Pricing is aggressively discounted (the Palazzo are $111 down from $278), inventory is deep, and this is one of the better moments all season for a serious denim reset.
Shaina Mote’s end-of-season sale hits 50% off, with chunky knits emerging as the real value proposition (as in, half-off the Classic crewneck and other associated acts). A strong moment for some good small-batch sweaters.
The Madewell extra 30% off sale is tailor-made for a proper sweater haul. The merino V-neck cable stands out—soft, substantial, and easy to layer through transitional weather. Reliable construction for significantly less; with extra discounts the V-neck lands at $45 from an original retail of $138.
A host of exclusive discounts. Rachel Antonoff offers 15% off with MAGASIN15, ideal for spring-has-sprung pieces like the Alliums apron. Damdam also offers 15% off skincare packed with high percentages of active ingredients (the entire vitamin alphabet, for example) using LAURA15, and to round it all off, Tria Laser adds 10% off their line of advanced at-home hair-removal devices with LAURAR at checkout.
There’s also: L.L.Bean, up to 50% off—field-tested classics (especially the sweaters, weatherproof layers, and canvas totes); Aureum’s 25% off sitewide sale for all of your belt needs; AYR offering 20% off with dependable denim and cozy neutral hits; and Sunnei’s bright and zany sale section, offering 20% off using EXTRA20%.
Home sales
Running through March 31, the Louis Poulsen 15% off sitewide sale makes ceiling upgrades feel suddenly reasonable. If you’re already living with the table lamps, this is a strong case for trying a pendant on for size, like the PH5.
Crate & Barrel’s Presidents’ Day event focuses on the big decisions: sofas, display cabinets. Discounts are meaningful enough to move projects off the “eventually” list.
