This is so crazy helpful, thank you!!!

I live in southwestern France and am always at brocantes and other markets. I started my own vintage wares online shop and then the Trump admin totally wrecked my US shipping procedures! You can’t even ship packages with La Poste (France’s USPS) to the US at the moment. So I’m going to check out the companies you suggested. ❤️

Such wonderful advice. I'm very familiar with the whole "pack an extra suitcase or two" situation for small items... And with the tariffs, that's even how my friends who have antiques shops in the US get their goods home, but all these little details are great to know for the big stuff. Thank you!

What a fantastic read. You’ve captured the true spirit of the European antique fairs — that mix of excitement, discovery, and a little bit of madness at the gates! As someone who sources pieces across Italy and France for international designers and collectors, I loved your practical insights on logistics and negotiation. It’s wonderful to see this world described with such authenticity and enthusiasm.
