One of my only two actual BF purchases this year was the first peacoat I’ve ever liked… I’ve been eyeing it for a few months, as I realized I wanted a coat that was waist-length but in a more natural fabric—admittedly, Carter’s become a friend, but the 25% sale price with BF24 is deep enough that I didn’t even think to text him first, $566 $755; the other was a Maximum Henry belt—been looking at them for a while, deal was great, and the super slim leather felt like something different, $80 $115; I’m not immune to noticing Paul Mescal’s cardigans…I do love how his insanely small one looks, but he also wears this one from &Daughter, which is on a nice sale, $360 $480; Chuck 70s are way more comfortable, $56 $85; and Belstaff: Barbour without the twee collar, $347 $475.

If you’ve got the scratch, Stein’s is the dream marriage of a trench and car coat, from a designer we love that’s nearly impossible to find outside of Japan (and Mohawk have kindly made it $400 cheaper), $1,083 $1,445; the other belted car coat of my dreams, this one by Auralee, is also on sale, $900 $1,285; heavy discount on my favorite Lady White Co hoodie, $143 $170; I’ve mentioned this crispy, looser weave cotton Barena V-neck before—I have it in navy, but I love the black, especially at this price point; $245 $355; the best dress socks out there, no amount of washes have made these CDLPs feel different to how they did one day one, $96 for 5 $120; aaand now I want dark grey jeans, $369 $455.

I’m crazy about that stitching at the neckline of this Taiga Takahashi, $327 $466; this Orslow denim jacket is similar to some I saw on my trip to Sweden, $367 $490 ; I own this Batoner sweater, I love this sweater, and it’s $100 off right now, $296 $395; Margaret Howell doesn’t take part in Cyber Week, so it’s a blessing when its stockists do, $341 $455; and I’ve always loved the effect on these Magliano jeans, $486 $810.
