Iāll miss your āentry wayā photos in the full length mirror where youād rigorously shoot PFW NYFW uniforms.. & weād spy familiar items in the background..
the space you are in now feels like such a DREAM š & youāll b amazed how easy it is to find zillions of beautiful things on that auction app (? LiveAuctioneers ?)
I fully chandelierāed, fortunyād, George smith sofaād a big old house just appāing it up..
once I moved west last year itās been equally fun to free it all into the world without angst.. as it had all just been auction beauty finds that fit that space & cost relatively little
I consigned nearly all of it to Resiklo in Red Hook.. theyāre lovely. If you end up w pieces that donāt fit your space I recommend them (or for purchases.. they have a lot of MCM as well as āglam girl estate estate saleā like my quirky collection
Interesting read. Is there something like this for people building a house from scratch? it would be great to read a chronicle about that process. Thought you might know. Thanks!
Zaborski Emporium in Kingston is still my favorite architectural salvage spot within 2 hours of New Yorkāworth a visit for the basement of doors alone!
Congratulations on your new home itās so much fun to own a home and redesign it. I sold mine years ago and have yet to know where mine will be located yet but I am in terribly excited to learn more and bookmark all this for my own home. Excited to see the progress.
Congratulations on becoming a homeowner! Your post (and comment about bathroom renos) made me think you should know, if you don't already, the architect/design consultancy Studio Officina https://www.studioofficina.com/
