Can someone help me find this? At a stop by the Ormaie offices—remember this fragrance brand I wrote about the other day? My further intel on this front is heavy backing of 28º and to watch out for Toi Toi Toi Extrait when it drops later this year—owner Baptiste had a rug hung behind the table where we sat and mentioned off hand it being from a former Carven creative director’s new venture. My search skills have turned up nothing, and the closest approximation I can find is this one from Arshile Gorky. I find it deeply beautiful, so I kick it over to you.
Felix Sullivan from the Studio Nicholson and I met up to watch the “match” and a buyer for Garbstore we were with commented on a bracelet he was wearing: “I saw so many people wearing that yesterday I thought it was an event access pass.” Felix insists only 50 or so must’ve been made, but suffice to say, the Gottlob bracelet—only $76—was a clocked micro-trend.
More on this coming from Louis at PMW’s end, but one of the most moving collections of the week no doubt came from the Japanese brand Stein. It could and likely has been glossed over on online trawls for its subdued shapes and colors, but I found myself needing to touch every of the mannnny garments hung in the showroom. The fabrics make my brain buzz off its tracks. It’s on SSENSE and La Garçonne in limited numbers and just launched its own e-shop about a month ago.
