Brilliant idea and terrific insights. For future purchases - I'm a 32E/32F and obsessed with support. I have only ever been able to wear bras from one brand since I was 16; Chantelle, their full cup styles - check it out next time you need a new bra x

This post was perfect, I'm currently on a similar search to you since all of my old underwear has started ripping. I also bought some CUUP modal thongs about a year ago but I'm so unimpressed with the quality since they've already started ripping. You might like Skarlett Blue, Organic Basics, and Pact if you're looking for underwear in darker shades only.

Echoing another user who mentioned Empreinte, it's the only brand I've been wearing for years as a fellow small band/large cup. If you buy the brand from Iris Lingerie in Boerum Hill she's got a seamstress who will fix up the band after it has stretched out which is great since the bras are insanely pricey but they are handmade French lace.

And they do last a long time if you wash by hand.

I am also a 32E/F and I only wear Simone Perele. SP has mastered supportive bras for our size so sexy. Will def be trying CUUP and that Else strapless bra.

Thank you so much for this post! iI laughed with recognition at the disappointment feeling opening the drawer. I was committed to do research this weekend and spruce up the intimates and THIS saved me so much time. Thanks Laura!

Doing this exact thing for my underwear and sock drawers a few months back is SERIOUSLY one of the best moves I've ever made. It's such a pleasure when nothing is ratty or a compromise. The investment is small relative to the life improvement!

I'm going to third (or fourth?) the Simone Perele recommendation for small band/large cup (32D here). I wear the Andorra style in every color - pretty enough for company, comfy enough for all day, and seamless under most t-shirts. I used to be a Chantelle loyalist but this particular SP model is just great!

Have you tried empreinte? I’m the same size as you (30-32E) and besides Eres it’s the only brand I wear. Their T-shirt and strapless bras are another level of engineering. Pricey though!

This was great! Also curious - how do organize your bra and underwear drawer? Do you use a drawer organizer? I've never found a system that works for me
