Named for the large, vertical newspaper format (while we’re at it, Magasin is pronounced “magazine”), think of this new franchise as a shopping cheat sheet cribbed from far-reaching corners of the internet. Coming to you by popular demand, this supplement to the weekly news email will address highly specific shopping queries and expose the desideratum collateral of an unrelenting browsing habit.

Vintage Ferragamo heels are treadable for hours and then go full Meret Oppenheim bondage at night—these are a size 8 but similar options abound at all sizes on eBay; these Massimo Dutti boots with a sensible yet sly heel height are under $300; Kalda’s Orange Peki Pumps are confusingly comfortable and also just look at them (!); The Row’s satin ballet flats (on sale) are an obvious but unmatched choice; and Simona Vanth’s grippy-bottom wedges cling to the ground on one side while humbling before the heavens with a pledge of bows on the other.

If this question could be answered with one product it would be this Bode Solid Front Tie Pullover a friend of the brand wore to a Friendsgiving I attended this year; it’s impossible to overstate the tenderness of this wacky Comme knit from SS97; the Paloma Wool Carlotta sweater that I keep coming back to…and will buy soon I’m almost certain; and this Freya McKee slasher sweater that’s so smart it’s sexy and it’s so sexy it’s smart.

A lightweight Lemaire Chesterfield coat with forceful football shoulders (on sale for a very reasonable-for-Lemaire price); this Dries cocoon coat (a bit pricier on SSENSE) for fans of Norma Kamali’s sleeping bags—which also make great options; Acne doing what Acne does best with this frill-hemmed trench (plus it’s on sale); a vintage Miu Miu distressed leather trench—no doubt pulled from the archives and onto the moodboard for Miu Miu SS23; and while the Toteme scarf coat is finally back in stock at SSENSE (and the puffy version on sale), this drapey Toteme double-breasted jacket is the new de rigueur outerwear from the brand.
